Author Guidelines

Submission Requirements

The International Journal of Developmental Issues in Education and Humanities (IJDIEH) welcomes original research articles, review articles, and technical notes. Authors must ensure that manuscripts:

  • Are written in English or French.
  • Are original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Follow the UBUEA JOURNALS Standard Format for articles.
  • Include an abstract (150–250 words) and 3–6 keywords.
  • Provide accurate references following APA 7th edition citation style.

Manuscript Preparation

All manuscripts should be structured as follows:

Section Description
Title Concise and informative, reflecting the content of the paper.
Abstract A single paragraph of 150–250 words summarizing the study's objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
Keywords 3–6 relevant keywords for indexing and search purposes.
Introduction Context, problem statement, objectives, and research questions.
Methodology Detailed explanation of research design, data collection, and analysis.
Results & Discussion Presentation of findings with interpretation and comparison with prior studies.
Conclusion Summary of main findings, implications, and recommendations.
References APA 7th edition style. Ensure all references cited in-text are included.

Submission Process

All manuscripts must be submitted online through the Author Submission Portal. Authors are encouraged to:

  • Register and login to the portal before submission.
  • Upload the manuscript, cover letter, and signed copyright form.
  • Ensure figures and tables are clear, high-resolution, and correctly numbered.
  • Include authors’ affiliations and email addresses.

Peer Review & Decision

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Editorial decisions may result in:

  • Acceptance without revisions (rare)
  • Acceptance with minor or major revisions
  • Rejection if the manuscript does not meet the journal standards

Authors are notified via email of the decision and provided with reviewer feedback.

Ethical Standards

  • Authors must declare any conflicts of interest.
  • All data should be accurately reported and plagiarism avoided.
  • The journal adheres to COPE guidelines and expects ethical research conduct.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

The APC depends on the author's country. For details, please refer to the Publication Fee Page. Payment confirmation is required before final publication.
