This inaugural issue marks the official launch of the International Journal of Developmental Issues in Education and Humanities, published by the Faculty of Education, University of Buea, Cameroon. The issue presents original research and scholarly reflections that explore educational development, human behaviour, cultural dynamics, and the broader social contexts that shape learning and human progress.

Volume 1, Issue 1 introduces the journal’s mission to provide a credible and accessible platform for academics, practitioners, and policymakers. The contributions in this issue highlight emerging perspectives in education, curriculum innovation, humanities research, community development, and the impact of contemporary social changes on teaching and learning.

As a peer-reviewed and open-access publication, the journal is committed to promoting high-quality research that supports academic dialogue, regional development, and international collaboration. This first volume establishes the foundation for future scholarship within Africa and the global academic community.
